Assistant Senior Patrol Leader

• Appointed by the SPL-elect with approval of the Scoutmaster and Committee
• Must be a member of the Leadership Patrol
• Leads the troop in the Senior Patrol Leader's absence
• Lead the PLC meeting in the Senior Patrol Leader's absence
• Is the Patrol Leader of the Leadership Patrol - plans and leads their patrol meetings and activities
• Works with the PLC to develop, plan, promote and manage the Troop program for weekly
meetings and other activities.
• Works with PLC to develop, plan, promote and manage the Troop program for monthly outings,
summer camp outings and High Adventure activities.
• Keep Leadership Patrol members informed and prepared to take part in all troop activities
• Represent the Leadership Patrol at all PLC meetings
• Actively show and help develop troop and patrol spirit
• Work with other troop leaders to make the troop run well
• Assist with leadership skills training (JLT) in the troop
• Always prepared with a song, cheer or chant.

• Wear the Boy Scout uniform correctly
• Live by the Scout Oath and Law
• Show and help develop Scout spirit
