 • The Leave No Trace Trainer specializes in teaching Leave No Trace principles and ensures that the Troop follows Leave No Trace on all outings and activities. • He can also instruct Scouts and assist them in earning the Leave No Trace Award. • Help minimize impact on the land by teaching Leave No Trace Principals to the Troop • Encourage positive outdoor ethics and decision-making skills • Prepare Leave No Trace presentations and demonstrations periodically throughout the year • At least annually, lead Troop training with the opportunity for Scouts to earn the Outdoor Ethics Awareness Award and the Outdoor Ethics Action Award • Set a good example • Wear the Boy Scout uniform correctly • Live by the Scout Oath and Law • Show and help develop Scout spirit |
