Training Opportunities

Troop Leadership Training (TLT)      Training for youth leaders in a troop level environment TLT is offered for those eligible to be elected SPL or Patrol Leader and to those who are eligible to be appointed ASPL or to other high leadership position. Training takes place in three modules, usually in January and August before elections. National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT)     Training for youth leaders, ideally those who may soon be Senior Patrol Leader, in a council level environment NYLT is offered for one week each summer in early June. Scouts ages 13 to 17 who have earned the First Class rank and have completed TLT are eligible to be recommended by the Scoutmaster to attend. NYLT is limited to 48 participants per summer.
